Stalking the Humans

[Zane]

The busy streets hummed with life before Zane stepped out from the alleyway. A hush fell over the crowd as she walked down the roadway. Her long flowing purple cape hid her tiny form, her eyes shadowed by her hood. The mark of Kurushima was etched in gold thread on the cape. The villagers moved out of her way like always which made her feel isolated. Don't touch her.. Kurushima's vessel.. Evil child.. She'd heard it all before even before she came to this country. Zane flicked her wrist and two female shinobi stepped out, following her mindlessly. Ofcourse Zane never went anywhere without a puppet or two. Together they walked down the way to a fruit stand.

H-Hello Priestess Zane.. How can I help you today? The man said. Zane nodded and held out two silver coins. "I want two pears please.." They made the trade and Zane left.

Zane, followed by the kunoichi puppets just walked down the path without a destination.

[Shinku Hyuga]

Shinku walked down the street, his head buried deep inside of his book. It wasn't any book. It was Shinku's father's, Home Is Where The Heart Is. A story about a ninja who was on a long journey way home, encountering many obstacles along the way. His black eyes bounced from page to page as he flipped through the book. "Hmm." He looked up and realized he was already where he was supposed to be. He was at the market! He smiled and looked back at the book, memorizing the page he was on and closed it, sliding the paper back into his pocket. He jogged feverishly over to a booth and smiled at the old lady running it. "Hey Mrs. Liah!"

The old lady simply looked up at Shinku, seemingly in fright. "Hello, sweetie. You have to go." She warned, as if some impending doom was coming.
The blond blinked in confusion. "Why?"
"The Kushi-Kuri-AHHH!" The old lady screamed and with new found grace and speed which wasn't her own, she hopped over the booth, knocking Shinku to the side and ran up the street. Shinku blinked at the ladies odd behavior and looked around, noticing that everybody was clearing out like there was a disease going around. His black eyes filled with confusion and he turned around, noticing three female figures walking down the street, approaching him...

[Zane]

The priestess ignored the random frantic calls of the townspeople. She was used to them not wanting to be around her. She was used to feeling alone.. Her puppets deteced a shinobi standing infront of their path and moved infront of Zane. She stopped and looked around them to see a boy with bright blonde hair.

"..."

He didn't move.. How..odd..

"..Hello..?"
