The Rise of a Devil

Kyo makes his way to the training arena after months of just lounging around his house, eating a bunch of food and wasting his time and his talents. Kyo was somewhat depressed and this was his way of getting back into his right frame of mind. Walking down a long hallway he looks and looks but notices no free training rooms available and is annoyed, but decides to make his way back to the manager and see if he could do something before he caught a case. After speaking to the manager Kyo was to there was one last room but no one has ever ventured in there after a series of tragic events 20 years before. This knowledge made Kyo curious and after finding out the rest of the story he was eager to start training in that room.

The manager stared atKyo, fear is in his eyes as he said no to Kyo who began to get aggitated and started insisting that he train in there. After hours of arguing the manager finally gave up, he was scared for Kyo's life but was tired to being bothered so he fetched the key in his office and walked Kyo to the door. Upon arrival Kyo stood there staring at a large symbol with 2 devils locked in combat. The strange thing about the symbol was that one of the faces of the devils was not there. Kyo was now more eager than anything else to find out what lay behind that door.

Snatching the key from the managers hands Kyo puts it into the key hole and turns it, but the door remained lock. Slightly disappointed but not willing to give up he inspects to door for more clues and finds some wierd markings which seemed to form words in some unknown ancient language. Annoyed that he knew nothing about whatever was written there Kyo started grilling the manager for more info and insisted he was told everything about this room, from the origins to now. The manager looking at his watch he lead Kyo to a small personal library where all info about the building was stored, then he left instructing Kyo to start reading. Annoyed that he had to go through practically every book before he was able to physically train Kyo started reading analyzing everything he read carefully, taking physical and well as mental notes.

And so it all began...

After a week of straight researching, Kyo started getting annoyed and began thinking he should just give up and get a normal training room. As he was about to give up and on his way out of the library a small door toward the corner of the room caught his attention. Curious as to what lay inside Kyo went to have a look. The door was slightly jammed and the hinges rusted so Kyo had to kick it in to open it. The moment the door flew open a bunch of bats flew out at Kyo knocking him backward and into a bookshelf, which fell ontop of him as it tilted due to it being close to the wall.

Even more annoyed now that he had to pick up all the books and put them back on the shelf in alfabetical order. Kyo pushes the shelf off of himself and takes a look through the tiny door seeing only spider webs, but after brushing them aside and fetching a flash light he sees some old dusty books piled up from the floor to the ceiling of that small room. Crawling into the room was no problem for Kyo due to the fact that he was skinny and short. Grabbing one of the books Kyo looked through it and to his suprise all that filled them were forbidden techniques. Knowing perfectly well that he would not be able to learn and practice any of them for a long time, he began making preparations to move them into a location that only he would be able to find. Further to the back of the tiny room, Kyo found the books he were originally looking for and was determined once more to unlock the secrets of that training room.

Hours passed as Kyo foredged through the first book learning about the people that entered and never came back out. He also learned that the black demon face takes the face of the person that enters the room. He continued reading the book getting to the middle of it around mid-day of the next day. Kyo speed read the book because he realized that their were 12 thick books with information to that room in it. Kyo had a twisted side to himself that rarely took over and influenced his emotions but while reading the books, the cruel and mutilated stories of those who failed the training was very amusing to him, leaving a creepy smirk on his face which would have scared all the girls away.

After learning all he could about the room, one piece of info was left for him to find out and that was how to get inside. At that very moment blowing up the room door seemed like it could work but Kyo highly doubted it and decided not to bother trying.

Leaving the room Kyo headed outside for some fresh air. The moment he arrived outside he realized 2 strange chakra sources coming from the streets of the clan district. One of which he faintly remembers from his academy days. Knowing he got nothing better to do until he can train in that specific room he headed towards the area, hoping to clear his mind for a while.

After a day of intense thinking Kyo walks back into the building, clueless as to how he would get into the training room. He knew everything that happened inside that room but was unable to find a way to get the door open.

Frustrated he decided to try one last time. Fetching the key and placing it into the door and turning it, still nothing happened. Annoyed he coated his right fist with his chakra and punched the door hoping to break it down, instead to his surprise the door stood still but the chakra that was around his fist was gone. Looking at the demons on the door Kyo realized that the one that before had no face now looked like him. Confused he stared at it, then realized the door was opening, revealing a room that was void of light. Standing amazed in front of the door, annoyed he didn't think of doing this sooner, Kyo did not realize the darkness that appeared under his feet. A few minutes later he realized it but it was already too late he was being pulled into the room and the door closed and sealed itself behind him.

Now in course darkness Kyo hears a voice calling out to him but doesn't know which direction its coming from so he remains still. Knowing according to the symbols on the door there is something in the room with him, Kyo keeps his guard up though he is unable to see or sense anything. Remembering he has a flashlight he takes it out and shines it across the room trying to see whats there but realizes the light is unable to penetrate the darkness. He becomes worried for the first time in his young life, not knowing what is going to happen next but somehow manages to maintain his composer.

As he takes his first step into the unknown he is immediately attacked and set flying backwards into the wall. Slowly rising to his feet he closes his eyes and attempts to find the energy he felt when he was hit. Taking another step he was attacked again, suddenly realizing while laying still on the floor that whatever was in the room with him could not see him but reacted to motion. So he lay there with his eyes closed trying to thing of a plan.

While on the floor with his eyes closed Kyo felt a slight pain in his chest, opening his eyes to see a large figure standing over him with glowing indigo eyes. The moment Kyo tried to swing at the thing, it threw him across the room like a rag doll and dashed straight at him attempting to finish him off. Seeing the eyes as it came closer Kyo was barely able to move out of the way as the wall near him was busted. Realizing his theories about the thing was wrong, Kyo goes completely on the defensive.

But the fact that he still couldn't see anything and his senses were messed up began to annoy him. Thinking for a minute, Kyo realized this would most likely be a good time to start using his bloodline though he had absolutely no control over it. Deciding to draw the thing into a more open space Kyo dashes towards where he believes is the center of the room, but unfortunately hits a wall face first and falls to the ground with a thud.

Holding his nose in pain he begins to stand up and notices the glowing eyes closing in on him. Turning the opposite direction of where he hit and dashing that way he stopped when he thought he was in the middle, which in all actuality he was far from it, and turned to face the creature. As it attacked him in that spot Kyo activated what he thought was his bloodlines only form, but was only its first due to him knowing nothing about the bloodline being he is one of the firsts to have it. A crimson phoenix suddenly appeared in his eyes and a fiery coat of chakra began to coat his body which illuminated the creature so Kyo could get a better look at it.

Upon seeing it Kyo became disgusted for it looked hideous. As it swung at him, Kyo remembered a jutsu his father taught him, so he would be able to escape sticky situations. Without thinking twice he coated his hands in his wind element chakra and began swinging at the creature. Hitting it on the sides of its head and on certain parts of its chest. After the onslaught the creature yelled out in pain but became increasingly angry and began to attack with full force. Knowing not what to do at that exact moment Kyo decided to flee but upon turning around to do so changed his mind and dashed straight at the creature showing no fear
